# API and skills store

> Attach 100+ catalog APIs through three API-store plugins, and ship reusable skills into every harness on the runtime.

## API store

Zap v5 attaches catalog APIs through three API-store plugins instead of first-party adapters:

* `apistore.context7` — hosted docs/search MCP at `https://mcp.context7.com/mcp` (`CONTEXT7_API_KEY`).
* `apistore.open-connector` — self-hosted connector MCP inside the VM at `http://127.0.0.1:3000/mcp` (loopback only).
* `apistore.composio` — hosted MCP session minted by the control plane (entity = tenant id).

First-party rows are Zap gateway/media/memory providers that ship in the runtime itself: OpenRouter, Vercel AI Gateway, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, GMI, fal, Prodia, Runware, Replicate, ElevenLabs, Mem0, Zep, Thirdweb, Modal.

Each API-store plugin renders one MCP registration per harness config format (`yaml`, `json`, `json5`, `toml`, `cli`), so every harness on a heavy runtime sees the same connectors.

## Skills store

Skills follow the manifest contract: YAML frontmatter with `name`, `description`, `version`, and optional `metadata.zap.{weight,lanes,harnesses}`. In a runtime the store lives at `/zap/skills/<name>/SKILL.md` and is symlinked or copied into each harness's skills directories at boot.
